Root Beer, Anyone?

Last Saturday we finally got some of our food storage packed into plastic buckets! We used dry ice to prevent bugs and since we never have dry ice just laying around, we played with it a bit. Ryan thought it was cool to put little chunks in water and watch it fizz. Todd remembers making root beer with his family when he was a boy so we did that too. We used a left-over bucket, a ton of sugar and water, and a bottle of root beer extract. And dry ice. Justin was in charge of stirring it. The fog was so mesmerizing to watch. Then we had root beer for days. And root beer floats. Mmmm. I could do that again!
