Back to School!

Whew! After a really great summer, the boys are back in school! They started on Wednesday. They all said they didn't want to go but over the last 2 weeks or so, they've been getting a little more ornery each day. I think they were just getting tired of each other. Now they are in school most of the day and when they come home, they are pretty tired and just too busy to crab at each other!

Tyler is in the 8th grade - the last year at middle school! He is excited about all of his classes and he is first chair trumpet in the band! He's taking Geometry this year (I'm kind of excited about that). Tyler is so good about getting up and getting ready in the morning - so easy! And then I get him at home for about an hour in the afternoon before the other boys come home. We are so proud of him! And look how good-looking he is!

Ryan is the big 6th grader this year. He seems to like his teacher, but he is happier about being with his friends and getting to play football and soccer at recess. He really likes playing the trombone and will be starting those lessons up again tomorrow. He's a big help with Justin in the mornings and with making breakfasts. When he comes home, he wants to have a snack and then have a friend over every day.

Justin is now in the 3rd grade! I can't believe it! He's 9 years old and growing up fast. He has a nice teacher who also had his big brothers, so he is so happy about that! Some of Justin's good friends are in his class too so he is set for the year! I'm so glad all three boys are off to a good start!
